Ram Charan has chosen a safe and tested film and opted for a remake. Dhruva hit the screens world wide yesterday and has been getting positive to mixed reviews ever since. The film looks wuite promising and has given Ram Charan the much required hit after two successive flop films, Govindudu Andarivadele and Bruce Lee. The film has also opened up to decent openings abroad and gained popularity overseas unlike his other films.
According to the sources, the satellite rights of the film have been bought by a leading entertainment channel, Gemini TV for a whopping price of 9.5 crores, which will include rights for the dubbed versions too. This is record high for Ram Charan compared to all of his previous films. A promising plot, star studded cast and many other reasons may have justified the price.
