Satya, the film raised good expectations among audience from its energetic trailers. Backed by great stunts, heavy duty action sequences and voice over by Megastar Chiranjeevi, the film has pinned high expectations. Let us see how it fared at box office.
Kanna (Manoj) hails from Guntur and is a happy go lucky young man without a job. While his father tries to search a suitable girl for him, he gets involved in a huge tiff with Seshu (Sampath), a criminal lawyer and head of a goonda gang. Things take a bad turn when Seshu starts targeting Kanna and in turn looks for his father (Rajendra Prasad). Meanwhile, kanna falls in love with Amrita (Pragya), the only sister of Seshu. The story revolves around how Kanna rescues his father and how he wins his lover.
Rocking star Manchu Manoj exhibited a powerful performance in this film. He is energetic throughout and shined well in heavy duty action sequences and powerful dialogues. He strived hard for the film and it is evident every scene. Pragya made an impressive debut with her film Kanche, however she took the commercial route with this film. She looks good in songs. Rajendra Prasad as a father does justice to the role. Sampath plays yet another powerful role as the lead protagonist in the film. His role as criminal lawyer and head of a goonda gang is good. Rest of the cast such as Kota Srinivasa Rao, Prudhvi have done justice to their roles.
