After delivering a hit film like Patas, Kalyan Ram has come up with a different film with ISM under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. He surprised everyone with his transformation to a well-toned six pack body, complete makeover of looks and an altogether new body language for this film. Aditi Arya played the female lead in this film. Story, screenplay and dialogues helmed by Puri, this film based on journalism released world-wide today amidst huge expectations. Let us see how this movie fared at box office.
Satya Martand (Kalyan Ram) is a journalist. Javed Bhai (Jagapathi Babu) is his best friend. Owing to an incident occurred to Satya, he takes a disguise with a masked appearance and aims to abolish crime and corruption in the society. He takes utmost care to not reveal the real identity behind the mask and fights with the entire system. The film showcases his tryst with the corrupt society and whether he comes out successful in his mission. The film revolves around his relation with Javed Bhai, and how his love come in between him and the mission and his journey.
Kalyan Ram is the sole torch bearer in the film, with his shocking body transformation along with power packed performance. He has done this film with lot of care and dedication, look slike he put his everything in this role. He showed lot of improvement in terms of style, dialogue delivery. Jagapathi Babu played a crucial role and looked stylish yet again. He scored well with his performance. The debutant , Aditi Arya added the required glamour quotient in the film along with exhibiting good acting skills. Rest of the cast like Posani, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Gollapudi have supported the story well and have justified their characters in the film. Interestingly, Master Shourya, son of Kalyan Ram made his debut with this film.
Director Puri Jagannadh needs no introduction about his work. He has already mesmerised audience with his unique and variety characterisations of the lead actors in his films. He ensured positive hype surrounded the film right from when its trailer released. Although the movie might seem to have a routine storyline, Puri’s narration made it interesting to watch. He was able to perfectly showcase the raw emotions of any youngster who wishes to question the existing corrupt system in place. Anup Rubens gave decent tunes for the film but has done extraordinary job at providing background music. Mukesh’s picturisation of beautiful locales is an additional highlight to the film. Editing also seemed well executed. Stunts are choreographed well. NTR Arts Banner has lived up to its name in terms of production values and gave a rich and uncompromising feel to the film.
